What is Recreation Soccer?

Recreation soccer is a soccer program primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high-level competition.


How Recreation Soccer Different from Academy/Select Soccer?

Recreation soccer is meant to be a fun experience for players, the expectations for the players in Recreation are to learn the rules of soccer and gain experience playing on a team. The expectations for Academy and Select soccer are higher. Practices are longer and typically teams compete in tournaments and games two weekends a month. Academy and Select teams are chosen through tryouts.


What Age Group does Recreation Soccer apply to?

Boys and Girls with birth years from 2011-2021 or U14-U4 age groups.


Are the Genders Split?

At this age, it is safe  to allow boys and girls to play together on teams.
But we are now offering parents the option to sign up their girl players to all girl teams.



How many teams are there in each age group?
It varies with sign-ups each season and will vary between age groups, but usually there will be between one to two teams per age group. 

How much playing time will my son/daughter get?
In recreation soccer, there is much work in making sure each player gets equal time on the field. With teams who have a goalie position, the goalies may have more play time, as well as players who are more willing to jump in to play.


Are players expected to attend every practice and every game?
To get the most out of the soccer season, and for the benefit of the team, it is ideal that players try to be on time and attend every practice and game. Coaches are not responsible for making up practices or training for players who are absent and may choose to reduce play time in games for players who consistently miss practices.

Are there written codes of conduct for players and parents?
Yes. AIFCTN has written codes of conduct for players and parents.

Can anyone find out information about our child and their team? 

Child safety is a paramount concern to All-In FC TN. With that in mind, our policy prohibits staff members from communicating specific information about a child or team to any individual not listed in the child’s registration information. We appreciate your understanding.


Can A Player Move Between Teams?
In Recreation Soccer, players stay on the same team unless there is a major conflict of some sort.

What is the financial cost
for Recreation Soccer?


  • Rec fees are $30 for U4 / $60 for U5-U14

  • Rec fees include 1 Practice & 1 Game each week for 6 weeks, 1 game jersey and pair of soccer socks
